Due to COVID-19 restrictions at the moment our Sunday services have moved online (see the sermon page for more information). Once we are able to return to the building the following details will become relevant again:
What can you expect from our weekly Sunday services? Here are some common questions and answers:
- When and where do we meet?
We meet on Sundays at WPC Maida Vale Church – see here for directions.
- What times are our services?
We have two services every Sunday: a morning service at 10:00am and an evening service at 6:00pm. Please note that on Good Friday and Christmas Day we meet at 9:00am.
- How long are the services?
Our services are approximately an hour and a quarter long. Please note the service may extend to an hour and a half on the Sundays we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together (the first Sunday of the month for the morning service, and the third Sunday of the month for the evening service).
- What happens in the service?
We sing a mix of contemporary and traditional hymns, we pray together, read the Bible and hear God’s Word as it is preached. After the service tea and coffee is served in the hall.
- Are there childcare facilities?
Yes! At our morning service we have a children’s church for children from 4 – 12 years old, and a creche for toddlers up to 3 years old. There is also a cry room for nursing mums and babies.
